Year 3 created Healthy Fruit Kebabs in DT this week.
The children explored where the different fruits originated and could explain why some fruits need to be imported due to the growing conditions in various climates.
The children are learning about Nutrition and Balanced Diets in Science lessons and know why vitamins and minerals are essential for our health.

Year 3 celebrated Odd Socks Day! This was a national event all about celebrating what makes someone unique!
It’s to symbolise that we are all different and that children should be themselves, accepting of one another and celebrate difference.

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their creative workshop about climate justice and the impact of changing climate on communities around the world 🌍
Year 3 created artwork using seed paper and contributed to a ‘Tree of Messages’ capturing their concerns and hopes about the climate crisis.
The children’s work is currently on display in @southwark_cathedral and will then be exhibited at the Houses of Parliament in early 2025.

Sadly, we have to say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils today 😞
Their final memories of their primary school days will be of fun in the sun, whacking the piñata, soaking each other during water fights and licking ice-lollies 🍦
We wish them all the very best for their next chapter. Good bye and good luck, Year 6! 💔
