As part of Science Week, Year 3 combined their Geography learning with Science and learned how to become ‘Climate Champions’.
The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring ideas and issues around Biodiversity, Energy and Waste. They even perfected the ‘Biodiversity Dance!’ 💃🕺🌎

In this morning’s whole-school assembly, we were joined by Jenny from @magicbreky who explained the importance of eating breakfast every day.
We will all try to be Magic Breakfast Champions!
What did you eat for breakfast? 🍞🍳 🥯🍯 🍉 🍎 🍌 🍊 🥣

Year 3 certainly dressed up for the occasion! Their World Book Day outfits are super!
We had children dress up as words including ‘blossom’, ‘the sun and moon’, ‘confusion’, ‘a rainbow’ and ‘colourful’.
Our book characters included ‘Cat in the Hat’, ‘The Queen of Hearts’ and ‘Tiana from The Princess and the Frog’.

Our World Book Day assembly was absolutely brilliant! Each class had the opportunity to parade their ‘Book Character or Word’ costumes!
Can you spot the words ‘confused’ and ‘sparkly’?
Did you see your favourite book character in the lineup?
Well done to everyone for being so creative and making wonderful World Book Day outfits!
